Hey everyone. To take a break from all the youtube stuff I’ve been doing have the Artbook for my thesis project. Some of you might remember one of my original posts on here and how it showed an animation short I did for college. Below you’ll see the artbook that can also be seen in the featured image, the original traditional sketches, and cells I made before I digitally redrew them, some promotional art I made for the art show I did last year and a simple animation involving the main character, Photon. You’ll also be able to see the original animation at the very end of this post. Check after the break.
Hope you all enjoy.

I’ve made another video. This one is about Illumination Entertainment and how they’re going to be making a movie based on Super Mario Bros. I give some good, bad and informative points about what could happen with this project.
Apps Used: Final Cut Pro, Elgato HD, Super Mario Odessey
Last Summer I took an internship at Nitro Studios. My animation professor was working there and offered the internship to certain students. In this animation, I had to make an intro bumper for a client titled: Maxwell Exclusives.
Apps used: Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Here’s another video project I did in college. This one involving a stop motion project. Like my Brotherhood of Power Alpha video, this was a rushed project and it took me many hours to finish it. A lot more could have been done with this video and honestly, I do love Stop motion so being able to do this project was fun enough.
I’ve owned these Mario and Luigi figures for years now I was finally able to use them for something. A lot of tape, paper and time was used to make the background and I used iPhone 6 to take photos.
Credits to the makers of the original animation, of which I got the audio from, are in the intro.
Apps Used: Stop Motion Studios for iPhone, Final Cut Pro.
Since this is a new site I’m plugging my Youtube channel: AtomicComms. It’s primarily a gaming channel and these videos are a few of my channel intros.
This one takes great influence from my favorite video game series, Mega Man. The atom with the d-pad inside is my logo.
Apps used: Photoshop, Final Cut Pro
And here is my second intro that was made in February 2017. I was doing coverage of the then newly released Nintendo Switch and used this intro for the videos based on it.
Apps Used: Photoshop, After Effects CS6, Final Cut Pro.
This last one is what I used to introduce my vlogs. Since my channel revolves around video games, I recorded footage of my video games and edited them into the intro to express my love and interest in playing games. I also did a lot of audio editing for this one in particular. This includes changing certain sound effects and adding in new ones.
Apps used: FInal Cut Pro, Elgato HD Capture
Hey, I went to Azusa Pacific University. I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor in Art, with a focus on Animation. For my thesis project, I needed to make an original animation. It may not look complete because of time constraints and other responsibilities but I tried my best to execute the idea of some of my characters acting out a short and simple narrative.
Here it is. Whether you like it or not and why is up to you.
Apps used: Photoshop, Final Cut Pro
As I stated in my original posting, I attended and graduated from Azusa Pacific University where I had to do several major projects. One was taking part in a group exhibition in Pomona, California. Below are pictures of my work and me at the exhibition on opening night as well as the show card.
There is also a photo of another exhibition I took part in but on the APU campus itself. Look below this slideshow to see it and get more information.
In this picture, you can see my original plan for the campus show and then the finished layout which was shown during an open house and art show.
I designed the logo myself and had it printed on vinyl. I also have an art book for the animation that shows concept art, my process and my reasoning for creating the project.
I’m considering posting the pages here on the site.
In the links below are PDFs I made that actually have some of the art that make it into the final book and were advertisements for the show.

The gifs below are animations I created for videos I plan to make in the future. My dragon, Neon, serves as a sort of mascot for my youtube channel and is also my scalesona.
I enjoy these simple 2 frame animations, I feel they’re simple yet have a charm to them. I plan to make more soon.
