Hey everyone. To take a break from all the youtube stuff I’ve been doing have the Artbook for my thesis project. Some of you might remember one of my original posts on here and how it showed an animation short I did for college. Below you’ll see the artbook that can also be seen in the featured image, the original traditional sketches, and cells I made before I digitally redrew them, some promotional art I made for the art show I did last year and a simple animation involving the main character, Photon. You’ll also be able to see the original animation at the very end of this post.
Hope you all enjoy.

Brotherhood is Power Animation Cells
Last Summer I took an internship at Nitro Studios. My animation professor was working there and offered the internship to certain students. In this animation, I had to make an intro bumper for a client titled: Maxwell Exclusives.
Apps used: Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Here’s another video project I did in college. This one involving a stop motion project. Like my Brotherhood of Power Alpha video, this was a rushed project and it took me many hours to finish it. A lot more could have been done with this video and honestly, I do love Stop motion so being able to do this project was fun enough.
I’ve owned these Mario and Luigi figures for years now I was finally able to use them for something. A lot of tape, paper and time was used to make the background and I used iPhone 6 to take photos.
Credits to the makers of the original animation, of which I got the audio from, are in the intro.
Apps Used: Stop Motion Studios for iPhone, Final Cut Pro.
As I stated in my original posting, I attended and graduated from Azusa Pacific University where I had to do several major projects. One was taking part in a group exhibition in Pomona, California. Below are pictures of my work and me at the exhibition on opening night as well as the show card.
There is also a photo of another exhibition I took part in but on the APU campus itself. Look below this slideshow to see it and get more information.
In this picture, you can see my original plan for the campus show and then the finished layout which was shown during an open house and art show.
I designed the logo myself and had it printed on vinyl. I also have an art book for the animation that shows concept art, my process and my reasoning for creating the project.
I’m considering posting the pages here on the site.
In the links below are PDFs I made that actually have some of the art that make it into the final book and were advertisements for the show.
