For my youtube videos I often at times draw thumbnails for them. This speed draw shows the kind of process I use. It’s not that different from other methods of drawing and it’s really simple but I wanted to try and make a speed paint. Later I’ll draw something more complex and do a video of that, but until then: check out this video
I’ve made another video. This one is about Illumination Entertainment and how they’re going to be making a movie based on Super Mario Bros. I give some good, bad and informative points about what could happen with this project.
Apps Used: Final Cut Pro, Elgato HD, Super Mario Odessey
I made my first ever Top 10 list. This one is about Switch games.
Nintendo Labo is a newly announced product where you can create new peripherals using cardboard cutout stencils. It’s a complicated little project that can get kids and parents together to build new ways to play on Nintendo Switch. Looks fun but I have my concerns. Follow the link below to see some videos and get my impressions.
Since this is a new site I’m plugging my Youtube channel: AtomicComms. It’s primarily a gaming channel and these videos are a few of my channel intros.
This one takes great influence from my favorite video game series, Mega Man. The atom with the d-pad inside is my logo.
Apps used: Photoshop, Final Cut Pro
And here is my second intro that was made in February 2017. I was doing coverage of the then newly released Nintendo Switch and used this intro for the videos based on it.
Apps Used: Photoshop, After Effects CS6, Final Cut Pro.
This last one is what I used to introduce my vlogs. Since my channel revolves around video games, I recorded footage of my video games and edited them into the intro to express my love and interest in playing games. I also did a lot of audio editing for this one in particular. This includes changing certain sound effects and adding in new ones.
Apps used: FInal Cut Pro, Elgato HD Capture
The gifs below are animations I created for videos I plan to make in the future. My dragon, Neon, serves as a sort of mascot for my youtube channel and is also my scalesona.
I enjoy these simple 2 frame animations, I feel they’re simple yet have a charm to them. I plan to make more soon.
Apps used: Photoshop CS6
